What makes the substance and structure of this spoon:

• Material: solid teak, carved from a single block and hand-finished
• Bowl: round, wide and shallow
• Handle: curved, carved from the same block as the bowl
• Grain: light areas and dark brown veins, unique to each piece
• Color: natural, with the honey tones of teak

A very wide bowl at the end of a thin, curved handle: this spoon has the presence of a sculpted piece. Left in a large wooden salad bowl, it dresses the table between courses; placed on the countertop, it brings the warmth of teak to the kitchen. It pairs beautifully with a linen tablecloth, stoneware dishes, and raw materials.

To use for a long time and keep the wood in shape:

• Usage: table service, from a large salad bowl or a deep dish
• Food contact: dry goods only, according to the manufacturer
• Delicate hand wash with mild soap and a barely damp cloth
• Dry immediately after use, flat and at room temperature, away from any heat source
• No soaking, dishwasher, microwave, or oven
• Food-grade oil two to three times a year, focusing on the joint between the bowl and the handle
