A slim base and a clean cylinder: the Utti fades into the background during the day and works with the light at night. As a pair on either side of a bed, it frames an upholstered headboard; alone, it complements an entryway mirror or a hallway wall. Its clean line suits minimalist and Scandinavian-style interiors, and its finish blends it into a light wall or makes it a graphic feature.

The assembly diagram steps, in order, followed by maintenance:

• Switch off the power at the breaker panel before starting
• Screw the mounting bracket to the wall using two wall plugs
• Connect the live and neutral wires to the terminal block, then the ground wire to the mounting plate
• Secure the mounting plate to the bracket using its two screws, at the top and bottom
• Install a GU10 LED bulb of 10 W max, not included
• Switch the power back on
• Indoor use, in a dry location
• Maintenance: dry cloth, cool bulb
