Description
Two square blocks with tight ribbing, set side by side on the ceiling, add texture to a bedroom, an entryway or a hallway. Flush against the ceiling, it barely projects and stays discreet even where height is tight. Each of its bodies sends light downward, from a flat bulb, not included, that twists into place.

Style and Decoration +

Riff 2 comes down to one gesture: two low, square, ribbed blocks, set side by side under a single mounting plate. In daylight as well as when lit, its rounded ribs trace lines of shadow and light that bring a bare ceiling to life. It suits modern, minimalist or Scandinavian-style interiors, in the center of a bedroom, above a desk corner or in a row down a hallway. Its finish sets the tone: understated, or bold like a touch of color. The wall lights, the single-light ceiling light and the chandelier in the Riff line share the same ribbing.

Assembly and Maintenance +

The ceiling light mounts to the ceiling in a few steps, always with the power off:

  • Switch off the power at the circuit breaker before you start
  • Drill the ceiling and insert the two mounting anchors
  • Connect the live and neutral wires to the terminal block
  • Connect the ground wire to its terminal
  • Screw the ceiling light to the ceiling through the center screw of each body
  • Twist the two GX53 bulbs into place, then restore the power
  • Bulbs: to be replaced through the opening of each body, with the fixture switched off
