The beech is what separates the Verdo from an ordinary steel spotlight: the disc retains its edge and the color of the raw wood, while the steel simply carries the light. It can be placed alone above a countertop, in pairs on either side of a bed, or in a series along a hallway, where the repetition of the wooden discs creates a pattern all on its own. On a raw concrete wall or next to light wood shelves, it finds its place in a Scandinavian or minimalist interior.

Steps of the assembly diagram, with power cut at the breaker panel:

• Switch off the power at the circuit breaker before starting
• Drill the wall and secure the mounting bracket with two screws and two wall plugs
• Connect the phase and neutral wires to the terminal block, then the earth wire
• Place the base onto the bracket and tighten the side screw
• Screw in a GU10 LED bulb of 10 W maximum, then restore the power
• Adjust the spotlight once the wall light is fixed
• Maintenance: soft, dry cloth, cold bulb
• IP20: not suitable for damp areas in a bathroom
