Bondi round utensil holder in black and natural teak 15 cm

Key measurements to check what it can hold:

• Diameter: 12 cm
• Height: 15 cm
• Weight: 400 g
• Packaging: sold individually, 14 x 14 x 18 cm parcel

What makes it unique:

• Material: solid teak, hollowed out from a single block with no joints
• Craftsmanship: hand-shaped
• Exterior: matte black stain, wood grain visible in relief
• Interior and rim: natural teak left bare, veined with honey and brown
• Each piece varies slightly in grain

Empty, this jar reads as a solid volume, so dense is the black, and one must lean in to discover the blonde wood inside. It is an object with a delayed effect: a dark cylinder on a shelf that opens up when you approach it. It pairs well with teak bowls and trays on a countertop, a desk, or a side table, where it can also hold a bottle upright.

What you need to know to use it and keep it looking good:

• Uses: pens, pencils, brushes, serving cutlery, or scissors
• Long-handled utensils: distribute them evenly, otherwise the pot will tip over
• Moving: lift it rather than pushing it, as the stain will scratch and reveal the light wood underneath
• Exterior: dry cloth, no sponges or detergents
• Interior: nothing wet; if a damp utensil has been placed inside, empty it and let it air dry
